The Blues Dude

Carryin' on the Blues legacy

Video -The Blues Dude(Jeremiah Williams) Solos Rockabilly Style on Fender Telecaster Deluxe

Here is the latest Blues Dude Solo guitar and greatest video to date. I am playing some ripping, telecaster rockabilly style solo over a Guitar Center Backing Track they provide free for their yearly blues contest. The winner gets to meet Joe Bonamassa, who happens to be a guitar god in my book. This solo in the style of Danny Gatton, Albert Lee, and Carl Perkins. I have also learned a lot from a Nashville picker named Johnny Hiland. He actually uses a set of custom made fingerpicks to play faster and more accurate that I have ever seen. So enjoy the video and I will be sure to put up some lessons for you aspiring blues musicians out there in blues cyberspace.

Thanks everybody for watching and helping.

Gary Curtis Picnic

I have not had the honor of meeting this man who left us with a large number of songs to play and learn from, but I have been asked to honor his life by learning his music and performing it in the Gary Curtis All Stars. The Gary Curtis All-Stars consist of 5 members, of which everyone has known Gary but myself. I have only met him through his music and peers. The members are as follows: John O’Carroll on Vocals & Guitar, Dwight Spencer onKeyboard, Rick Madigan on Bass, Tony Dellaria on Drums, and myself THE BLUES DUDE (Jeremiah Williams) playing leads as close to the recordings as I can.

The Show will start around 1 o’clock and run till about 8 or so. Food and drinks will be provided for an extremely reasonable fee of 10 bucks for all you can eat and drink, otherwise you may choose to just give a donation. All the proceeds will be donated to the Monroe County Diabetes Foundation and to fund the event.
